Self analysis or evaluation is extremely important. This is the case when it comes to setting goals and milestone, it’s important to find out where you are right now and what you can improve. 

I break it down into 6 different areas –
How healthy are you currently? Do you have any health issues if so, can they be solved or lessened by you working at it specifically. 

Food – How is your current dietary habits? Do you eat well or eat like crap. Can you change your habits? Probably so. This can be worked on. 

Fitness – Are you currently fit? Do you exercise and carry out activity to keep you healthy? Here’s a good rule of thumb… Can you run 2 mile? If not you need to work on your fitness. 

Finances savings investments 
Finances – what is the health of your current finances. Would you class yourself as financially secure and healthy? 

Savings – do you have any? If you stopped working right now, could you live for 3 months with no income from your savings alone? If not, you need to begin saving more.  

Investments – do you have any? If you’re currently always wishing you won the lottery, this is because you have the wrong mindset. Look at what you can invest your money on to make you more money.  

Family and friends 
How much time do you spend with family and friends. When was the last time you visited, spent time with and spoke on the phone. Make time, otherwise you’ll regret it. 

R&R time 
Rest and recovery time – how much time do you spend on yourself. Do you visit sauna, steam rooms, yoga or deep tissue massage? Remember your time is as important as anyone else’s. 

Vision goals plans actions 
Do you currently have goals, visions and plans of action? Do you know where you want to go in life and how to do it? I’m a big believer that we should all have goals in life. It forces us to take action. Set your goals then reverse engineer your way towards achieving them. 

Now I know it sounds like common sense. But bare with me. When you are too busy working or too focused on one thing pushed all the way over to one side. These are things that can fall short. Make sure you’re taking care of your teeth, skin, hair, nails and so on. This will not only be beneficial to you but will also be beneficial to the hose around you. If you look good, you feel good – period.
