Being ‘In the zone’…

A lot of people may throw around the phrase that they are ‘In the zone’.

But what is this zone ? And can you actually be in it ?

It’s a form of focus that you achieve by specifically targeting a goal, a milestone or somewhere that you want to be in terms of achievement. But it’s also about being in that zone to get so completely focused that nothing can phase you. Nothing can come into your mind and distract you, nothing can get up to you and pull you back from achieving your goal.

Being in the zone is saying ‘This is where I’m going to be and it’s going to happen… Period’.

I’m going to set out a plan, set out a goal and achieve it through whatever means is necessary,

That is being in the zone.

That is the mentality, drive, attitude and willingness to succeed that truly lets you know that you are in the zone and nothing can stop you.

That is what differentiates one person who is trying to get somewhere from those that are in the zone.

When it comes to training, being in the zone can be one of the best things that you can attain, More so than the actual end result or ‘prize’ itself. Because that is a zone that can only be attained through desire, and that desire is something that is only ignited through setting out a plan and setting out a goal.

So the next time you see someone and they tell you that they are ‘In the zone’…

Realise that you can get there too.. It all starts with a goal in mind and manifests from there.
