What is the most important factor towards making gains ?

Is it nutrition ? Is it working out ? Is it rest ?

No, it’s consistency.

It’s about doing something repeatedly, over and over again until you get where you want to be.

It’s not about 1 week of consistent regime and 1 week of falling off track. It’s about staying on track week in and week out. Making sure you’re on the right track and sticking to it.

Stay motivated in what you are doing and don’t stop everything just because you had a bad day. We all have bad days, we all have off days and we are allowed to do so. That doesn’t mean to say that just because we have a bad day that’s it. Everything is ruined.

No, Everything is not ruined. Nothing is ruined. You made a blip and tomorrow you get back to doing what you are supposed to do.

You don’t give up just because today wasn’t your day.

You don’t give up on a test because you get one question wrong.

You get hit with a roadblock in life you don’t stop existing.

Rejected from a job, you don’t stick to being unemployed.

What you do in life comes from what you do in the gym, how you handle yourself, how you handle rejection, temporary defeat.

It is just that – Temporary.

If you fail on a rep on the bench, guess what ? Next week you’re coming in and you’re repping that weight.

You mess up on you’re diet one day, guess what ? Tomorrow you’re getting back on your diet.

You’re not giving up, that’s not what you do.

You make your own life, you’ve got goals to achieve and you have the mental strength to stay consistent and not give up.

Winners never quit and quitters never win.

We don’t remember those who had a dream, tried, failed then gave up.

We remember those who had a dream, tried, got their ass handed to them and every door shut in their face. Gritted their teeth, stayed consistent and WON.

You’re a winner, act like it daily.
