People live simple lives. I could never have a simple life. Complexity is the norm for me and I love it. It’s always an uphill battle, always a test of will and heart, mental physical and emotional.
Never once would I change it, not once when beaten to my knees would I wish for an alternative option. It’s all about rising to the top again, there’s always a lesson to be learned in failure, a lesson to be learned in defeat and a lesson to be learned throughout the struggle.
So truly, aren’t you always gaining something ? I’d say yes. Embrace the struggle, embrace the hardship, when you look back on it from a position of success… I guarantee you’ll smile.
